AGM Notices
The Minutes of the 8th Annual General Meeting and the proposed 2024 Chinatown BIA Budget will be posted on the Chinatown BIA Website www.CalgaryChinatown.com on or before Friday, December 8th, 2023 for ratepayer review.
Nomination of the 2024 Chinatown BIA Board of Directors
The Chinatown BIA Board consists of a maximum of eleven (11) Board Directors. First-time Directors are selected to serve a one (1) year term. Current Directors returning for another term are selected for a two (2) year term. The BIA Board of Directors must consist of a minimum of six (6) Ratepayer Members. Of the next five (5) directors, at least three (3) must be Associate Members.
The following Board Director terms will expire in January 2024. The Board of the CBIA recognizes and appreciates their service to the Board and ratepayers.

NOMINATION CALL FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Secretary to the CBIA Board serves notice that the public is invited to be nominated for elections to the Board of Directors for no less than three (3) Associate Director positions available depending upon the number of Ratepayer Director nominations received. There are currently six (6) Ratepayer Director Member vacancies available and one (1) Associate Director Member position vacancy.
Nomination Process
Nominees will find the CBIA Board of Directors Nomination Forms posted on the Calgary Chinatown Website https://www.calgarychinatown.com under the Annual General Meeting Section. Please follow the directions in completing this form and securing the required nomination endorsement signatures.
Nominees are also required to review the CBIA Terms of Reference and the CBIA Code of Conduct as posted on the CBIA Website at https://www.calgarychinatown.com under the Annual General Meeting Section. Please follow directions and remember to sign both to acknowledge your understanding and acceptance.
